Jazzy has shared a new single 'Closer To The Floor' alongside French DJ and producer Ankhoï, via Polydor’s Chaos.
'Closer To The Floor' finds Jazzy singing about letting lose on the dance floor over a hypnotic Afro house beat. The track interpolates DSK’s 1991 'What Would We Do', previously sampled on Wiley’s 2008 hit 'Wearing My Rolex'.
The single comes accompanied by a music video shot in Miami during a North American trip that saw the Dublin-born artist play a pop-up party in New York for St Patrick’s Day.
Debuting in the UK's Singles Chart Top 100, 'Closer To The Floor' has become Jazzy's second biggest Spotify launch to date, with over 127K streams, just as the singer surpasses 10 million monthly listeners on the platform.
An Ivor Novello and BRIT Award nominee, Jazzy asserted herself in the Irish electronic music scene with her celebrated EPs Constellations and No Bad Vibes, released last year.

With over 500 million streams worldwide, the vocalist and DJ has scored two No. 1 singles in Ireland. In 2024, she also took home the RTÉ Choice Music Prize awards for Irish Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Irish Artist of the Year.
Jazzy is set to play at several festivals this summer, such as Forbidden Fruit, Tomorrowland and AVA Belfast.
